I finally took Brady in last month to get his 18 month pictures done. Yes, he's now 20 months, but oh well. They turned out great! He was terrific and so full of smiles! I can't believe how big he looks though. Our little guy is growing up!
The kids have been having so much fun playing with their Mr. Potato Heads lately. They get pretty silly and usually end up putting the glasses on themselves. Silly kids.
Grandma Bonnie came to visit us over the weekend. We were so excited to have her come and stay with us. The kids loved having visitors (Grandmoo came over on Friday and Grandpa Chuck on Saturday)! Here they are doing one of their favorite things in the whole wide world...reading! I think they were very excited to have someone new sit and read them books! Thanks for coming to visit, Grandma!
On Saturday, we went to a harvest festival at New Hope Christian School. It was a lot of fun. Brady was so excited to see the big hot air balloon. We got there just in time to see them put it up. The kids both liked the fire truck too.
The kids had lots of fun playing some games at the harvest festival. The two favorites were the fishing game and the duckie game. Both kids had a blast and got some yummy and fun treats.
Here are some more games that the kids had fun playing. Rayna actually wanted to go in the bouncy house (normally she is terrified of them). She had fun for a few minutes and then some other kids got in and got a little rowdy so she wanted out. She also got to have some face painting done. So much fun!
I found this adorable costume at a second hand store and thought it would make a great Halloween costume for Brady this year. Well, when we tried it on, we discovered it was a little too small and Brady did not like it at all!! He could barely move his arms and then he fell over on the ground and couldn't get back up. It was hilarious! So now we have to search for a new costume.
Rayna found some great pine cones at a friend's house the other day so we brought them home to make bird feeders. She had so much fun spreading the peanut butter all around and then putting the birdseed on. It took awhile for the birds to discover them, but we saw a couple eating off of them a few days ago. Rayna was soooo excited!
Yes, our son loves to play dress up. He is completely infatuated with princesses right now, especially Cinderella (or Rella, as he calls her). It is pretty cute. Someday these will make good blackmail pictures!
Grandpa Larry & Grandma Becky came to visit over the weekeend. The kids were so excited to see them and so were we. They had lots of fun playing and reading books. We also had Jeff, Mandee, Rayden, and Parker over which is always nice. We are so glad everyone was able to come visit!
Grandpa & Grandma brought Rayna and Brady some new books. They were in heaven! Reading books is one of Brady's favorite things to do right now! He couldn't get enough of his new Peek-A-Boo book. And Rayna is loving her Winnie the Pooh science books! Thanks for the new books!!
The girls got to make cookies with Grandma like they always do. They love this tradition! This time though, Brady wanted in on the action. He has discovered the joys of making cookies...eating the dough! He really wanted to help out and was very happy when he got a little bite!
