10 Months Old
Brady is now 10 months old. It's crazy to think that in less than two months he will be one! He is still army crawling everywhere! He can get up on his hands and knees and will do a few real crawls, but then he drops down and takes off on his tummy. He is eating lots of real food now and loves to try whatever we are eating. He can also pull himself up on us so that he is standing up. And he loves to stand.
Ice Skating
We got to go ice skating last week for Bryan's work party. It was so much fun. Rayna was very excited to go and loved walking around in her ice skates, but once she got on the ice, she got a little freaked out. The good part was, she kept wanting to go back out and try it again. She used the little walkers they have for awhile, but seemed to do better just holding our hands. Even Brady got to get in on the action. He seemed to enjoy it too!

A Visit To Santa
Brady had his 9 month pictures done today so while we were at the mall, we decided to stop and see Santa. Rayna was so excited and couldn't wait to see him, but as soon as he was ready for her, she got really shy. At first she didn't even want to sit on his lap. She finally did, but would hardly say a word. Brady was very intrigued. Amazingly enough, he didn't cry.

Playing in Rayna's Room
Brady loves following Rayna into her room and playing with her toys. The other day, during Rayna's "naptime," she pulled out all of her stuffed animals and toys and covered the floor. Later that afternoon, Brady followed her in there and thought it was great! They both had a great time playing in there. It's so fun watching them play together!
Christmas Tree Hunting
We went out Sunday in search of the perfect Christmas tree. We drove out past Merlin, along the river for awhile and then up into the hills. It was a beautiful drive. We thought it would be pretty cold since it was at home that morning, but when we got there, it was really sunny and warm. We had a picnic out in the forest and then started our search. We didn't have to go far. Just a few feet from where we were sitting was a beautiful tree that looked just right. We chopped it down and brought it home. It is now up in the house with lights on and the kids love it!
